ArtsWalk 2013 continues this weekend with events throughout the weekend.
Celebrate CCCA ArtsWalk Members Show at the beautiful 19th Century Pocketbook Factory. The opening reception is Saturday, October 12th from 6pm-8pm. The show will feature CCCA members works in all media displayed in this gorgeous dramatic space and accompanied with music by the Steve Mulvaney Band, dancers from "Wild Roses Dance Troup", fine food and drinks from area purveyors. Admission is $10 on Opening night and free to CCCA members artists. The CCCA Members Show will be open to the public during ArtsWalk two week gala.
Hudson plays host to dance, music, literary readings and also family-oriented activities at ArtsWalk Kids. On Saturday, October 12, 10am-4pm, join us right on Warren Street, between First and Second, when a street festival atmosphere takes over as the CCCA 'sets up its tents' for the Artists Marketplace! Artists will show and sell fine art, photography, sculpture, jewelry, crafts and more! While that's taking place, also on the street, members of the CCCA Plein-Air Painting Club will be painting city scenes and passers-by are welcome to watch! There will also be an impressive lineup of music and performances throughout the day featuring the area's top musical groups, dancers, street performers (maybe you'll even want to show off YOUR talent with a bit of karaoke!) The Two of Us Productions will present a special performance featuring songs from their production of the Broadway musical, Spamalot!
